So, now that people can party up it is extremely easy to create the most cancerous teams possible.
Playing against 4 thunders and their broken concussion grenades with 2 medics backing them up is not exactly fun.
Limit the amount of same mercs per team.
Never going to happen because DB is F2P and many people only have access to a few mercs.
Wait, you mean we weren’t supposed to be giving the enemy PTSD and Terminal Cancer by cheesing the sh*t out of them with 12 pellet sniper rifles,burst shooting .50 caliber rifles and silk white blanket grenades?
Even private servers… yeah it’s a plague to be ra**d by a team of 2 rhinos, 3 thunders and Aura’s invincibility stations, but you can’t force people to play the way you want. At the moment we can’t even have good rounds so imagine when you join a lobby and it tells you “SORRY, YOU NEED TO REMOVE FLETCHER, KIRA AND SAWBONES FROM YOUR SQUAD”, no one will play.
I honestly don’t mind facing multiple players playing the same merc because I find it usually provides a challenge and a way to further develop my skill as an FPS player. in order to gain skill some times you have to face the worst situations. That’s just me though. 
I can agree it might be frustrating, but the result would be way too frustrating to be worth it. Sometimes I just want to play for fun and I just have a lot of fun with certain mercs. If I was to join a match and then be told I couldn’t play that merc because other people were already using him I’d get frustrated too much and probably stop playing tbh. It’s unfortunate, but you need coordinated teams to take down those opposing setups.
In wolfenstein there were heavy weapons limitation, so i agree, when ranked rise from the dead we need some sorta of limitation to avoid spam
there already is a 1 merc limit in DBnation tournaments, and i agree with that. but for pubs? no way.
I think for the 5v5 queue in ranked there should be a 1 merc limit, since you can only play with a party of your own vs another 5 man party, there shouldn’t be a problem with “noobs” picking the vital mercs.
Multiple Naders with coordination will take down an aura/rhino combo no problem, assuming the Naders are good

Pretty much this. Even in ranked it would make people who have bought a merc via credits or real money and they would be locked out of it and cause quite a few issues. Especially if a person had all three of their merc choices taken by somebody else. The whole system would need to change to accommodate for that potential outcome and at that point the whole way the game works monetarily as a F2P title would most likely also have to change.
If DB was a paid game where you got access to all the mercs from the start it I’d personally be all about this. Until then you’ll only see a limit in league/tournament rule sets.
