lights dont just have SMG's and sniper rifles you know

a mate of mine, was complaining, that he was skinny and could carry a shotgun. (although i doubt this) he said you cant in brink, and i corrected him.

you can have many different weapons for the light

Being a light doesnt mean your restricted to using SMG’s and Sniper rifles, hell no, there are many different weapons you can use.

Assault rifle:
Kross
Muzzle brake
Greeneye/ red dot/ COGA scope
Front grip
Normal Clip

keep your range and burst fire, the gun is best complimented with a belgo

Battle rifle
Bulpdaun
Muzzle brake
Front Grip
COGA/greeneye
High capacity mag.

Like the Kross, keep your range(further than cross) and burstfire, complimented with a Tokmak with a greeneye or Yeotek.

Light machine Gun
Galactic
Muzzle brake
Grip
red dot or greeneye
Drum magazine

Rush into battle and suppressive fire! complimented with a Belgo.

SMG
Carb-9
Muzzle brake
Speed sling
Duct tape magazine
Ironsight

Get up close and personal, reload when you dont have a spare quick reload available.

Shotgun
Tampa
muzzle brake
Bayonet
adjusted irons.
DUct tape mags

You realize you only get the reload bonus every other reload? If you watch the animations you get 1 fast reload, then one normal speed reload.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say he is relating the various Sub Machine Guns to other weapon types.

Also, duct taped mags, fire one round and reload. Helps keep that fast reload on hand.

Its utterly stupid to complain about the selected weapons. Like in RL you stuck to what works best for you. I want to win and I won’t do anything just for the sake of variety. In RL weapon systems stay for decades before they are replaced. The Browningcal.45 automatic pistol 1911 has its 100th birthday this year and it is still in use in parts of the US Armed-Forces. The “M2 Browning Machine Gun” is in use since almost 80 years. And the M16 AR and its derivates are around since almost 50 years now. And even the M14 had a revival.
And there are hundreds or even thousands of small arms out there from wich the US of A could choose. But they stuck with this old stuff.

The carb 9 is the M4 of Brink most people can handle it and it has an acceptable accuracy and damage. The Kross is definitely more accurate, but that doesn’t help if it sill leaves a “pixel-broad” health pip in peoples health bar after you emptied a whole mag in them. The problem aren’t the players, but the weapons balance(if anything). I just won’t choose a weapon with only little range, small damage, bad accuracy and bad stability only to please your wish for variety of weapons used on the battlefield.

Its not against you personal, but this is the 101th thread concerning this “carb-9” issue. We, the players are not responsible for the fact, that this is the best main weapon. At least for the light.

No offense iezza, but

first you say: there are many more weapons for light than SGM, like assault rifle, shotgun, LMG , …

then you list all the SMGs … ok with different addons… but…i hate to tell you… maybe you didn´t realise yet:

Yeah, I found that kind of confusing too when I saw this post last night. Just figured I was too drunk and tired, but no, I guess I wasn’t.
