Lightmap texture coords out of range

(MadJack) #1

I get that when I’m light compiling… Any idea what I should do to fix that? I have no clues what it means :???:

WARNING: Lightmap texture coords out of range: S 123.4720 > 123 || T 114.8738 >
126

I think it means the brush is too far away from the map origin but I might be wrong.

edit: you could also try the surface inspector and clicking axial, or try entering 0,0 into the horizontal and vertical shift boxes… again I`m just guessing.

Forgot to add that the screen gets filled up pretty fast with those… There are TONS of them.

hmmmm… Maybe I should log a light compile just to see if there’s anything that I can find.

If you look at the error msg I think I can undestand SOME of it… But I have no clue as to why it happens…

S 123.4720 > (greater than) 123 || (Or) 114.87.38 > (greater than) 126

So… what IS “S” ???

iirc, s and t are similar to x and y coordinates on a patch surface, I don`t think they apply also to brushes which just use x and y but I might be wrong.
