What ARE these? these are NOT sniper rifles, and ive always pictured them as some sort of evolved WW2 rifles like the mosin nagant.

they are sniper rifles, just not one-hit kill sniper rifles like in more popular games

There basically bolt action rifles , like the Kar98k you might of seen on the cod games :slight_smile:

no, i just wondered what these are related to in RL and, why are they light, surely theyd be heavier than Assault rifles.

ive heard them referred to as long rifles as well, and the light refers to the category they fall under, not their actually weight. They wanted all body types to be able to use them, so they put it with the light weapons

you can carry 2, one of your own weight and one that is under your weight, ie. if you are medium you could carry an assault rifle and SMG.

errmm…no! homefail had aswell “just” 2 sniper rifles if you remember. and i think in sniping is not that effective and needed in brink, so 2 are enough.
