Light leaking around walls

OK - yes - I am a mapping noob.

I searched for this but didn’t see anything on it.

I have light leaking from around walls, floors and ceilings.
My grid is set to 8.
Most of my walls are one block (of 8) thick.
To get the light to stop leaking around the edges I have to make the walls at least 4 blocks (4X8) thick.
(When I say blocks I’m referring to the 2-D view in radiant)
This doesn’t seem right. I would like walls one block (of 8) thick.

My brushes don’t overlap but do touch completely on the ends so logically it would seem that light should be blocked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Ragnar - I’ll try some of the tips from that thread.

BTW - That thread was titled “light leaking under walls” and I searched for “light leaking around walls”.
You think I would have seen that post.

maybe next time search only for a few keywords, like “light AND leaking”

I searched for exactly the same some days ago and asked a friend for a search term because I didn’t find anything useful with my trials :disgust: He gave me two words: “light leak” - direct hit. It really isn’t always easy to find the right words
