can someone exlpain what a lightJunior does and how it is different from a normal light. What are the pro’s and con’s of using them etc. Thanks in advance

dynamic models such as players, not misc_models. They only light the lightgrid, where normal lights affect both the lightmap and lightgrid.

As i got a real prob in my map with the lighting of the playermodels, does it affect the gameperformance when i use lightjuniors in a larger scale? Like with real low fades?
I already have lightgrid brushes in the moving areas and worldspawn lightgridsize of 128 128 64 and the models are still pretty dark.

_mingridlight # in world spawn. works the same way as _minvertexlight and _minlight.
Im not sure if they hit performance but they used a lot of them in rtcw mp_beach(and I mean lots…).
