Level Up rewards ingame?

The only reason levels are in the game is to show how much someone has played it.

That can be easily replaced with a stat that shows how many matches you were in.

I hate that people feel that way now, arena shooters of old - which this is based on or so I believe - never had levels at all and people didn’t stop playing those. They kept playing because the gameplay is great, which is awesome.[/quote]
I disagree, even Wolfenstein: ET (made by SD) had a sense of level up rewards, the better you played the faster you get character perks, like the akimbo pistols or flak jacket.

Well I don’t come from ET so can’t speak for that. I come from Quake, TFC, and some other shooters that may have had levels but didn’t give anything for those levels.

A little bit of credits can’t hurt the game, it motivates people (me) to play more.

^This , 2k Each levelup would be good, Then remove the 12k on level 2 and 4 and change it to 6k each or something.

Just some better rewards than a Loadout case… Anything really, Don’t get me wrong i like that we get free loadout cases by just playing/levelling but they’re just mehhh… and it doesn’t feel rewarding at all to levelup.

originally, they only lasted a campaign (3 games), etpro gave us 6 then all the crap xpsave servers appeared and campaigns got huge

Thats why I said a “sense” of level up rewards, you leveled up a skill and got a reward for it be it on etpro or an xpsave server.
I myself prefered the xpsave servers, but did play on etpro servers from time to time

The devs didn’t want to reward leveling up for the sake of reward and only wanted to use the levels to show XP in game. That is why you only get 1 case per level up. They still wanted to help the new players experience so they give most of what you need towards getting a 30k merc.

i didnt get the 24k what do i do? ;-;
