Level rewards when?

So a while ago the devs confirmed that there will be implemented some kind of path-based rewarding system based on your gameplay.

Honestly I would love to see at least an expert case for every level (past lvl10) you achieve, because at this point getting on a new level doesn’t feel rewarding at all! The common equipment case is not enough imo.

Special rewards would be also sweet. Just imagine, you reach lvl 30 and get a bundle of elite cases! Just a bunch of credits could do the job too.

I’m sorry if that topic has already been brought to the table before. Just wondering what does Nexon think about giving out free stuff for levels.

I thought recently they said they are getting rid of levels? I could be wrong, but I thought this was mentioned on the stream.

I would much rather have the system you mentioned though. Sounds awesome! :slight_smile:

Levels, begone.

At least in it’s current, rolegame type implementation. It just brings barely anything but toxicity.

Not saying some kind of “loyality” bonus wouldn’t be nice though, would definitely keep things a little more rewarding in the long run, for people who sacrifice hours after hours to the title. It just could be implemented simply judging from in-game hours or similar instead.

First Lvl should be hidden from other player in game to erase all the bullshit lvl shaming.
And I dont mind them implementing rewards for levels but if they do that ill be mad if its not retroactive.

I like how levels and leveling up dont actually have any point, minimizes the exp farmers i think. Of course theres sometimes still some dunces when you happen to join server with only a couple people, but its not that bad in this game. And I think its exactly because levels are pointless beyond getting access to ranked

They plan on hiding levels in public matches just as in ranked. No one said they’re getting rid of levels.

I think with leveling up we should unlock some sort of skins, like in star wars battlefront,it would be nice

Level rewards is something we want to do in the future. It’s not on the “short list” however. We have bigger priorities at the moment before we start churning out level rewards.

I would really like skins, but in the most part, skins come with cards, and well all know the RNG of load outs on cards. I’d prefer if it was stuff like trinkets, or maybe special quick chat dialogue, hell maybe even an expansion to free crates or credit boosters, that we receive at early ranks.

How about making exp/levels another currency?

10 levels - Equipment case
30 levels - Elite Case
60 levels - Trinket
80 levels - Credit Booster
100 levels - a really awesome skin

For example: You played the game for a shit ton of time now and got to level 123. Then they implement that new system and you could get that sick skin and maybe one or two normal equipment cases. That would levee you with level 13 again and you could work for the trinket or farm elite cases this way.

Since level 30 already takes quite a while and exp farming isn’t really a thing you wouldn’t be able to exploit the system but would get exited for every level because it brings you one step further to the next award. Also it would take out a small part of the RNG since you are able to choose and save for different things.

That system would sure involve not showing the levels in lobbies as they don’t count as real character levels anymore. Maybe rename it to “reputation” or something like that

It’s not about if we need it or not. I like the game as it is, but is it so wrong to implement long term goals? More stuff is (almost) always better. It keeps people attached to the game. That’s one of the reasons why Warframe is so successful.

Mabye you could recive a special case for the merc you got the most xp for each lv

To be fair thats not a bad Idea, do it like a normal equipment case, but with just one merc, would help people get cards they want for their favourite merc more easily (if you got the Luck to drop colbalt or gold) xD
