Other big fixes in this update include your level no longer resetting to 0 after playing …

Nope isn’t fixed! As soon as you disconnect and reconnect to the server your level progress is lost.

I don’t recall seeing anyone with a level above 5 in a while, looks like everyone I’ve played with recently is getting reset every time.

It’s not affecting everybody, that’ll be why you see some people with higher ranks. Toomic has level 27 for example.

I have no idea why my level hasn’t reset, If you see any other accounts with high levels could you please let me know?

You said Toomic is a bad example and I don’t know why, so I asked if you had a better example. Toomic is level 27 and has disconnected from the game like everybody else except his isn’t resetting. That’s why he is my example of somebody who is not having this issue, and a pretty good one at that. Not sure how I can make it any more clearer to you what I’m trying to say.

I saw some in the early Beta days, but not in a while. I assumed they were Nexon employees, just giving the game a try, or even bots, as they were pretty bad. :x
