Lets talk about the nerfs to Kek-10

Something 7%- or 10% spread. I can’t remember. But before the patch, I was playing Bushwhacker, and the Kek-10 felt like a good weapon on Bushwhacker. The SMG-9 is also a good weapon, but the DPS wasn’t as high as the Kek-10, making it feel somewhat, sluggish.

After the nerf to the Kek-10, I really don’t understand this nerf as a whole. The weapon felt pretty balanced, and the mercenary’s that make use of the weapon, could use it to its full potential. But after the nerf, I just felt like Bushwhacker became someone lackluster in fights. I even find the SMG-9 does a better job with accuracy and in team fight as of right now, compared to the Kek-10.

Is there really a reason to pick the Kek-10 over the SMG-9? Unless you plan on playing a more siege like play style, the Kek-10 would work. But if you’re going for more an offensive play style around the map, I just feel like the SMG-9 does a better job.

The spread just increases 7% faster than before.

Solution? In close range combat this change does nothing. In long range you should be tap firing anyways, rendering this change moot.

Well as Yak said in cqb a 7% increase in spray wouldn’t rly make a difference and at mid range it wouldn’t be to big of a deal and u can compromise it with controled bursts (even thoe i dont rly need to burst a lot in the game) so ull be fine even thoe i do get u i dont think the Kek-10 rly deserved the nerf. And at long range u can still do again with controled bursts 2-3 quick round burst. Even thoe with smgs u should always try to close the gap.

Kek-10 still op topkek.

(TheOrangePhantome) #5

To be honest i agree i still think it’s a beast weapon.

(RyePanda) #6

Both are still viable weapons.

(GregHouseMD) #7

107% of a low value is still a low value.

(Suave) #8

the KEK-10 is still one of the best, if not the best weapons imo, 45 bullets, barely any spread on full auto.

The numbers for the nerfs sound big but in reality things were barely changed. And it mostly nerfed people who weren’t firing them correctly anyway.
