Memes are born of a community’s hatred and love towards a certain subject, often from large companies or controversial events, in order to derive satisfaction and as an outflow of creativity and social commentary for a certain corner of the internet.

When companies try to make memes, or when a controversial act is done in order to achieve a meme, it will always be insincere and unnatural as it is born out of the internet cultural sphere.

Sorry for the short derail, but I don’t get all the nexon bashing. It’s not like the quality of the game has improved a lot since the split. Maybe the quantity of content has improved. But I don’t know if more mediocre to substandard content is a good thing.
