The more I think about it the more it upsets me :frowning:

We should have the ability to choose our beta loadout card. I understand the randomness adds to the game but in this case there’s only ONE crate per beta player so it’s not like we’ll have a chance to try again. I can’t really think of a reason why we shouldn’t be able to choose our beta loadout to be honest

hmm… if we are talking about the obsidian cards then maybe, but in general speaking it makes the gameplay more interesting, trying out new things. Sure you may have a crappy card, but there is still skill to the factor of the game (heck some of the crappy cards are amazing for some reason XD)

I am the worlds worse sniper, so The chance I would actually use the Vassili card is slim, and none. Proxy card, sawbonz card I probably would use.

There are cards for sniper like the semi-auto sniper rifle, so it’s always a good find whenever you feel like playing dirty bomb :wink:

My Ego says : YES, i wanna choose.
and… well … alpha testers ( who actually supported the game moneywise) get to choose their cards … but… i put it this way:

i play guinnea pig aka test tube dummy since some months now, and i enjoy it very much, am very happy to do so. begging for a reward for something that i liked feels like a spoiled snotty nosed brat ruining xmas cos i want moooore presents and i want to be made a present for getting a present beforehand. kind of weired - especially for ppl finally getting into beta for the last two weekends.

from this point of view it would be totally ok for me to have the wheel rolling and maybe dont get a card for my favourite mercs.

but still the little child inside me says: pls let me choose !!

the Founders cards aren’t the Obsidian cards, they’re separate and part of Founders swag, lower tiers get to pick but some of us get all 5

Now if they enable Trading and, I get a vassilli obsidian card . I would gladly trade it for a card for a merc I actually play.

Did I misunderstand the whole Obsidian Card thing? I thought I picked my card already. Did I just pick which one to have a higher chance to get? Or WTF did I pick? I definitely picked a card for something.

Edit: nvm that was my founders merc loadout.
