Yeah, there’s no drop-dead deadline for this, and much of it is driven by player feedback and the feature set and quality level we want to achieve before going beta. As soon as there’s a date or time frame, we’ll shout it from the rooftops.

All foreplay and no orgasm, would be equally frustrating, I would think.
Thing is, with the frequency that the game changes, what is in a video one release, might be completely different a couple weeks later.

although Elite and Veteran Packs won’t get you in game, they will get you access to the development videos that are available to alphas

Veteran is all you need to get in the Video Updates forum, that’s the pack I have and I’ve been enjoying those video updates since I joined

Can’t tell you about the Alpha because we’re all under NDAs (Non Disclosure Agreements) but what I did was pay $30/£20 for the Veteran pack, which gave me access to videos to get a good idea of what the game was about, and after that I upgraded to the Legendary pack at $120/£70, only I got a -$30 discount since I’d already purchased the Veteran pack, the same applies if you buy the Elite and then upgrade to Legendary.

Getting into an Alpha to play (whether you paid for it or not) is idiotic. At the Alpha stage the game is still in development and evolving. The participants are not there to “play” but to help test and shape the game.

Where is this topic with videos? I have bought the veteran package a long time ago and i cant seem to find any topic with alpha videos.

You should have access and if you don’t you need to contact Badman or one of the other SD forum staff via PM, although if you haven’t already tried then see if logging out and then logging back in works, from what I remember it took a few hours to take effect.
