Left people also play

I’ve seen in other games the option to change the weapon position, I’m left handed and i think this option could make me and other left handed persons aim better and be more skilled. Hope this option comes in a future.

ADS is irrelevant in this game, just use your crosshair,no objections though

(Mustang) #3

He didn’t mention ADS, just that he’d feel more comfortable if he gun was held in a position that was more natural to himself.

Basically this:

I’m a leftie, but even in CS I have the gun in the right hand, simply because after 15+ years of FPS gaming I can’t get used to it any other way. I wouldn’t object though, the gun models in DB are quite large. The trick is to just concentrate on the crosshair and blank out the gun model.

I’d prefer cg_drawgun 0

(Protekt1) #6

lol… aim better due to the model appearing on the other side. You realize this has no actual impact on your aim right?

(Szakalot) #7

we could speculate on stuff like eye dominance, but it is definitely true that people have preferences. I know for certain seeing the gun on the left side of the screen would play with my brain.

(Protekt1) #8

It is a placebo effect.

(Mustang) #9

Nonsense, of course it could allow you to aim better, just like using a preferred crosshair, just because it wouldn’t make a difference to you doesn’t mean it wouldn’t make a difference to someone else.

(Runeforce) #10

Upside down could be fun.

(Nail) #11

I’d rather have more crosshair customization personally

(watsyurdeal) #12

I’d say left hand, minimal gun models, or no models at all should all be available options.

(Rémy Cabresin) #13

We can’t even have colorblind mode or non-admin pausing. Goodluck with mirrored models :frowning:

(Protekt1) #14

No, its not the same as using a preferred crosshair.

(Chris Mullins) #15

This also comes down to whether you’re right or left eye dominant (quite an interesting read). I’ll have a chat
