Leaving the match too soon at the scoreboard screen won't award you your xp and credits.

Title.

It just happened to me today. Made a game, finished it, and left as soon as the scoreboard showed. Sounds like I made a huge mistake since I did not get any xp, credits and hexads from it. My missions were not completed due to this as well. I’m not going to lie, this is really frustrating. If you ever see this thread remember to not leave to quick, wait at least for the xp and credit animations to be awarded.

I hope this bug will be fixed soon.

Thanks for letting us know!

Happened to me the other day - though I wasn’t really paying attention… At first I thought I was just being forgetful and that the missions had just reset or something (wasn’t sure of my credit amount prior to the match too).

Guess this was not the case… :'D

Had a chat with the guys, currently the system is working as designed. It functions like this partly as we want to promote players to stay in the server for consecutive matches.

Working-as-Intended™

@stayfreshshoe is the same true for badges?

I believe it used to be the case that badges weren’t actually awarded until they were displayed in the end game summary so if there wasn’t enough time for all the badges to show during the animation after the scoreboard before going back to lobby they wouldn’t be added to your global badge stats. Same would happen if you clicked away from badges before the animation completed to view the scoreboard.

I don’t think that recieving no xp/credits at all at the end of the match upon leaving the server too quickly on the screen result page is intended whatsoever. Maybe there was a little bit of miscommunication ?

I played my match fully and just left as soon as the result screen showed up, ending up in not recieving any xp and credits. If this is indeed intended, it does not sound like a good design choice at all. What about the people who only have the time for a single game ?

I have to agree with @Eox here. Seems a bit extreme. I rarely if ever run into this problem because I usually stay for the whole results screen to be able to see how badly I pwned the noobs but the punishment does seem to be too much

If this is “working as designed” then I really think you should include at LEAST some kind of AI or something for people to see that happening. Because this is garbage.

Leaving the game after a match has ended should not result in losing out on your earnings, period. It makes no sense.

Actual **incentives ** would be good for keeping people playing longer. Make it so playing back to back matches in the same server gives other bonuses. Something like this:

(these rewards stack and are lost upon leaving the server)
1 Match Completed - 5% credit boost bonus on further matches. (total bonus = 5%)
2 Matches Completed - 2% bonus chance of a case dropping. (total bonus = 2%)
3 Matches Completed - 7% credit boost bonus on further matches. (total bonus = 12%)
4 Matches Completed - 3% bonus chance of a case dropping. (total bonus = 5%)
5 Matches Completed - 8% credit boost bonus on further matches. (total bonus = 20%)

etc.

Obvious this would cap out somewhere, so the values would need to scale appropriately.
If the idea is to keep people in game and playing back to back games, then give them a reason to.

Actually, I had posted regarding this topic before and went more in depth with it.
