Lawbreakers, new FPS

I can’t wait for this. I think it’s being published by Nexon, and it’ll be F2P. It’s being made by Boss Key productions, whom I have never heard of before.

Google it, and watch the announcement trailer, and you can get a feel for it. Even if the gameplay sucks, the lore sounds like it’ll be worthy of a good read.

There’s no gameplay yet…until I see some I don’t see a reason to get excited.

I thought that it was Gearbox behind Borderlands.

That looks fun.

It definetly caght my attention, like Overwatch.

Is it me, or are fast-paced arena shooters being popular again?

(ArtGutFallen) #11

I kinda has an overwatch vibe with the whole rocket jumping thing, the abilities, things of that nature.

Some of the guys over at gear box dropped out, and made boss key.

I think I’m just going to wait for over watch, but idk… I might play it.

They are. You can thank CoD for that. Military shooters are out. People are tired of the same old realism.

I was very surprised to see rocket jumping in an Unreal Engine game. It’ll probably be less fluid than Source engine rocket jumping, but who knows.

Bro… Did you and Gabe Newell sleep together? All you talk about on this forums is how TF2 is the best game ever, and everything else is close to it’s level.

Idk how you got the idea URE4 isn’t able to implement rocket jumping. Tribes runs on freaking URE3, and does it way better than Source.

Firstly, TF2 is not the best game ever. I use it as a stand point because of how popular it is and how long it’s been around.

Secondly, Unreal Engine isn’t know for it’s physics. Sure it has some, but it’s not nearly as player effective than other engines. Even the idTech engine has more physics that apply to the player.
Have you ever played Borderlands? Not much physics there. Grenade jumping was even patched out of 1.
Dirty Bomb? To a miniscule extent there is explosive jumping.
Unreal engine games generally don’t include bunnyhopping, explosive jumping, strafejumping, just to name a few physics reliant techniques.

All I’m saying is that the Unreal engine in no way compares to the idTech or Source engines if we wanted to talk about player physics. And I don’t go around sucking Gabe Newell’s dick. I also worship League of Legends to an extent, and many other games, but i don’t use them as standpoints because of how little they relate to Dirty Bomb.
