looking for where i can download lava textures and or shaders and possibly a easy tutorial on how to implement

once i put the map in my etmain ill have lava? im not all to familiar with shaders or the scripts yet. i read up on it but all that i read was in the q3 manuals it just tells you about them in a really confusing way

You need to open the .pk3 of the map (in this case the race_volcano_110.pk3) and go into the texture folder. Take the textures and extract the folder into your etmain/textures folder
Then open the shader texture in the .pk3 and extract it into your etmain/shaders
open your shaderlist.txt and write in the names of the shaders you extracted at the bottom of the list.
In short, what you are doing is, making a local copy of all the project files that I used in making the map.
When you pack together your own map, you need to put all the files you used locally (all textures, sounds, scripts and shaders) into a .pk3
i hot the shaders working but it does not hurt you can swim in it lol im not sure how to edit the text so it hurts you
for anyone who downloaded this lava, did all 3 work as shaders for you? only main lava has any animation the rest are just textures but all the portal animations work so idk what could be wrong. when i add the trigger hurt… i highlight ut press N? and what is the key and value to make it kill instantly?
Because the main lava is comprised of two different textures, and since you open the shader it will open all the textures used.
