The third Brink video dev diary is now online and explores how Brink goes about blurring the lines between single player and multplayer. Titled “The End of Genre As We Know It,” the diary also goes into the inner workings of Brink’s missions system and features the healthy mix of interviews and gameplay footage we’ve come to know and love.

Nice video.

I do wish some of the gameplay had the UI turned on though to at least show it in action. The graphics are sweet but I would really like to see some more of the function personally.

Nice video indeed, pretty rich on new content.

Still not fond of the outlines, maybe useful for consoles where you’re sitting far away from the screen and things can get smudgey, but as for the pc, rather not.

Noteworthy is that the video (along with the other two developer videos) was uploaded July 12. I take it these videos have been ready for quite a while, and that the delayed release is because of marketing reasons.

Nice vid ;=) Want to see some ingame footage with crosshair on now, I find it extremely hard to see the hipfire efficiency without it :smiley:

Gotta love the weird accents that Locki and Bongoboy have…sometimes I’m not sure that they’re even speaking English :wink:

I once asked for directions to a supermarket while in south London, and the lady answered me in a barely intelligible cockney accent that I should look for a “Zines-Bree”. After wandering around for a bit, I eventually realized that it was spelled “Sainsbury”. In the US, you would have to travel hundreds or thousands of kilometers to get a significant change in accent. In London, you just have to go to a different neighborhood.
