lateral card trades are needed

(xzez) #1

The fact that loadouts - one of the most customizable aspects of almost any other game - is based on a lottery system is bad enough, but not being able to laterally trade cards within a tier is nonsense. This game loves to give me the same crap loadouts I already have multiple of when I trade up. Why is there no system to pay some credits, or, two cards in the same tier to trade for a different one in the same tier?

(Faraleth) #2

Well… card trading between friends will be coming eventually! It might be a little while off yet, though x-x

(Conqelson) #3

We just need trade downs as well as ups. Split a cobalt into X golds for X credits.

This is like the 9,001th topic on this. Seriously, SD is thinking about it I believe.

That’s how free2play games work. You can cash to get things fast (bronze loadouts) (or get via in-game credits) or play a lot of time to get something sometimes.
“I got a bad loadout twice while I am totally aware of RNG in that game and I am not able to use a single or 2 common senses and buy a bronze loadout in the shop”.
It’s like seeing a fire with a “This is fire. Fire hot. No touchy fire.” sign and complaining about burns after touching the fire.
I just hope SD is ignoring such threads and people who are creating them. Seriously. We saw what happened when SD makes what casual people want coughPhantomcough.

Wow this is so devoid of any intelligent thought.

$3.50 for a single bronze loadout while there’s well over a hundred in the game is just greedy; there’s virtually no value. Not to mention silver or higher can’t be payed for to acquire a specific cosmetic. The costs in this game reek of money grubbing. The cost of ownership of this game is absurdly high, meanwhile any other proper game you can pay $60 and have everything. $60 in this game won’t buy close to half of what’s available.

They want to make half this game a lottery, fine, but don’t make it completely objectionable, even for paying users.

$3.50 for a single bronze loadout
17.500 CR for a bronze loadout. Literally 3 days active playing.
Also $60 will get you 3-4 Mercs with best possible loadouts.
But sure, games like Battlefield or COD gives you everything for $60 coughDLCs/Premium/Mappacks/Microtransactions/Skins from SP in MPcough
And mate, you know? Nobody is forcing you to pay a single cent for the game and you still can have everything in a short amount of time. Can you get anything from your prescious $60 games without paying a single cent?
P.S. Love how you call me stupid because I have a POV you don’t like.

(MTLMortis) #10

Step 1 - get 100,000 credits (a week or so of playing)

Step 2 - Buy bronze merc loadout pack

Step 3 - Use the one you want, trade-up the rest

Step 4 - Profit

So another “person” on a disagree spree here. So mature. How do you even disagree with facts?

(xzez) #12

Pretty obvious you can’t tell the different between fact and opinion.

17500 in 3 days? we don’t all waste every bit of free time playing this game to grind out credits.
$60 for 3-4 mercs with loadouts… how nice that $60 gets not even a third of the game (which still only has 5 maps).
COD is is a cash grab, but you fail to mention that laundry list of other games that have a total cost of ownership in the $60 range. BF4 right now is $40 for everything.

The fact is that this game has significantly less content than many, many others, yet it’s cost of ownership is way higher.

(Jostabeere) #13

Why don’t you just leave then if you dislike the game and its mechanics and BF4 is better?
The cost of DB is still $0. No matter what you say.
I don’t even want to discuss with you because even if I’ll explain everything you would mock around.
I said 3 active days to play. Learn to read.
Cards cost 17500CR is a fact.
So is the price of complete COD or BF games with premium and everything.
It is also a fact how much you get for $60 in DB.
And nobody forcing you to buy anything is a next fact. Why are you even acting like you have to pay money for DB? Seriously?
You don’t get anything from a $60 games without paying the $60. Another fact. Boom.
