Last second quiters

Im having trouble with this. why would you quit when your about to loose the match. Spend all game playing then quit a minute or less to the match and give up your xp/credits

Because some people just aren’t willing to see a defeat screen.

DB is unstable for some people. Whether it just crashes or their internet messes up for a second, sometimes they’re just booted randomly out of a game. When it happens towards the end of a match, there’s usually no point in rejoining. And sometimes even if you wanted to, the match is over before you can, or someone on autojoin is shoved in there before you can rejoin.

Of course ragequitters are a part of it, people do weird things when they’re angry and frustrated, but considering how many times DB has disconnected me towards the end of a match, I doubt a lot of it is on purpose.

i only noticed only low levels does this

The term defeatism commonly is used in politics as a descriptor for an ideological stance that considers co-operation with the opposition party. In the military context, in wartime, and especially at the front,
Defeatism is Synonymous with Treason.

maybe kiddies dont get the concept of betraying their own teammates.

Their mentality: I am a dirty player who revel at my wins and I will not be part of a shameful losing team.

These are 85% the potato population of ranked players

“Enemy team repaired the Ev in under a minute? Better surrender”
“Defending team defended against our first attempt? Better surrender”

The sense of pride and accomplishment!

Some player rather DIE than lose a match, which would tarnish their ego!

(StIwY) #8

Another reason why i play only ranked…penalties for leavers.

Who even cares if someone leaves in a casual game, lol. It’s called casual for a reason.

Not to mention someone usually joins back in 30 seconds.

(kopyright) #11

There are times when you already know you have lost the match halfway through thanks to CMM and your team is either too stubborn or stupid to vote on a surrender. Why should I waste another few minutes on being spawn camped?

(binderr) #12

Yes, is casual. You can leave whenever you like. Hate to admit but I often leave the match as it starts if I’m not on *attacking team and I have *game xp mission to complete.

(Sorotia) #13

I never understood why people leave…seen it way to much to believe it is all disconnecting. May as well stay for the credits and xp if the match is just about to end.
