I make custom sound mod (menu in english) russound.pk3. I change wm_allies_chat.voice, wm_axis_chat.voice, wm_quickmessageAlt.menu files and add new sound files. I successful exec ET:
“etded +set fs_game noquarter +exec server.cfg +exec noquarter.cfg +exec punkbuster.cfg”

Second question.
When I exec ET-server I see
“couldn’t exec language.cfg
couldn’t exec autoexec.cfg”
What is language.cfg and autoexec.cfg? Where may I see example this files? javascript:emoticon(’:?:’)

There’s also a “/ui/wm_quickmessage.menu”-file.
In the autoexec.cfg there are all the options you want to set during the startup of the game.
It’s executed automatically if there.
But it’s not necessary.
Not sure about the language.cfg.
Might be a “rest” from the not made SP part or from a not done localization.
Ok. I write wm_quickmessageAlt.menu in russian and see unknown (no english and no russian) character’s in quick menu. I use Mandrivalinux 2006, ET v.2.60b for linux, codepage KOI8-ru and simple editor text files (for wm_quickmessage). May be change codepage in ET? I see www.etw-FunZone.de (et-server 85.10.207.139), game in german language with additional soundpak. If exist game in german, why I dont make game in russian? How to make this?

You need to regenerate the font list (.tga picture with fonts and the coordinate data file), recompile the related files to read the font coordinate
data so that making the game can display the charactors on the font list, at last, edit the .menu or other localization files.
