landmine bug

There’s a strange landmine bug. You can plant landmines in water if the water is shallow and the ground is slanted.
A good example is the spot in the tunnels on oasis where the water stays (the second tunnel). See screenshot.

The host keeps deleting my files… I should find a new one.
I’ll reupload it as much as I can until they delete my account

It’s not a bug. Planting landmine don’t care about water but check only the groundEntityNum where the landmine stay. And after the landmine check the surface parms to see if the flag SURF_LANDMINE is set. Looks G_RunMissile & Landmine_Check_Ground

I think Shrub has an option to enable planting mines under water.

Seriously, try this site, there are no catches (that I know of), it’s free, simple, and fast, just upload, and then paste the code they give you…

I think he means that the mines are getting planted in the water volume, rather than in the ground beneath the water. Planting mines in the ground beneath the water should be ok though right?

When you plant the mines there you can arm it by floating above the water BUT if you try to disarm it you can’t. You’ll either get the clicking sound (for being underwater) or it’ll explode when you float up.
Therefore, I classify it as a bug/exploit.

I just tried planting 5 mines under the water. And afterwards I could easily disarm all 5 of them again.

Could you perhaps make a demo of this?
