This can be HUD-related, because it is canceled by pressing TAB (HUD is gone)

Maybe the minimap is causing the issue? It’s not visible when you hit tab.

the whole map is displayed when opening the tab, so wouldnt that be even worse?

I have no idea… Just speculating… but yea, you would think so. Maybe the rotational part of the minimap is the problem? I am pretty sure the minimap rotation can be disabled in the shooterui.ini file. Worth a try i guess.
