Ladder experiment, reach for the top!

Hi!

So, I speak for my self and for my personal needs.
For that reason im looking for players that whats to join this experiment.

Please join a LADDER ranking, here in this tread.
Simple and basic rules will apply.

  1. This is a ladder system and all information is in this tread only.

  2. All players are welcome.

  3. Maps allowed;
    City Centre
    Market
    Park Square
    (more to come)

  4. All point matches are allowed. (14-20-26)

  5. Toon limitation; only ONE of each / team.
    5.1 No time/round limit on matches.

  6. Players register in this thread by posting their RAD nick.
    6.1 Player always enter from the bottom of the Ladder.

  7. Players can challenge a player that is 3 steps above him/her.

7.1 A player challenge another by sending him a game invite and on the first move posting the text: LADDER NEXT. The challenged player posting an answer asap, Yes/No. If the answer is YES, the challenger then sends the correct match (this way the challenger can hide map and toons).
The challenger is free of choice; Points (14-20-26) and Maps. Toon regulation as above.
7.2 The result are posted here in this thread.
7.3 If the challenger wins he/she are the placing itself above the challenged player.
7,4 Winner adjust the Ladder

More rules will apply if necessary.

I’m open for discussion!
My wish is that this can “live for it self” in a near future.

This is a great way for all kind of players to join a rank system thats not bond to time-activity-points-maps.

In my opinion, the Ladder is a great idea, but I do not support the idea of toon limitation and therefore I wont take part in that. But good luck anyway :slight_smile:

With winning or losing, I hope it drop one or rise one position. There will be a point where certain players will be hard to beat and dramatic turn of events will be a pain and not truely help in standings. EG you might of challenged one or twoabove you and they beaten you time and again, you try three up and you managed to beat them, they go down making the two above you go up.
keep limitation on toon, there will be even more toons in future and leave cloning for fun games.

Mitsid and g00n,
rules and functions will have to be changed and adjusted along the way.
For now I think the community must show DEVs that RAD needs different ranking modes(INGAME).
When it’s a INGAME-function there is no problem to have different leagues, ladders and cups.

For now, just join and enjoy;)

Mainly added that because it should be an option (bad timing, many running games, ladder game running… what ever…)
And we are all fair-play players so no one will abuse it… lol
