I have once played a map with a labyrinth, I’ll try and look it up for you guys, it was something with an obelisk and the axis / allies had to get there first.
EDIT: Found it @ http://www.planetwolfenstein.com/wildstar/multiplayer.htm . Hope it gives you some inspiration!
It may help if you posted your sketch. I can not offer ideas without knowing and understanding how they may compliment your map.
Thanks,
-Aaron
i will try to post it tomorrow, because it may take much time…I tried to make it not hard, nor easy to find a way through the bunker, but maybe i made it too complicated …
Well, I made a map I while ago called “maze”, it wasa flop, so I dropped it. You can find it by searching the forums for “maze”, there’s a link off etmaps.de… somewhere.
Hi!
You can use my map “loffys_ctf_prefab2”: http://www.pcgamemods.com/5536/ for random walls. The .map-file is included.
If you want random walls (corridors) in you labyrinth-map.
Each time “loffys_ctf_prefab2” starts, the crates and stuff are placed in random places.

interesting
will download it in a minute & see what is this random stuff… tnx Loffy
Be careful of making the map too confusing.
Firstly if you make heavy use of appearing / disappearing walls to change the layout, it makes the command map useless.
Few people use it as it is (I’m sick of people saying ‘I’m lost in your caves’ when the map is as clear as possible) but without it… even more complaints!
Also, generally people don’t like confusing maps - see the saberpeak thread for another mapper’s view on the opposite end of the spectrum.
while I disagree that simplicity is always best, maps would definately not be popular if they are deliberately overly-difficult to learn the layout of.
yeah i realized this part, but it i think the tunnel would not be hard…
PS. Gerbil i sent u a PM, pls answer me… :blah:
P.S.S i am wondering… how to show the tunnels which are below the terrain level & the tracemap cant find them…? :???:

If it was about the rocks in HD, then I answered it in the public thread. They are just script_movers that follow curvey splines.
