Right now the way the laser is called in is really annoying: when you start calling in the laser, it starts a timer, which resets if you take damage or if your crosshair moves to a different surface. This means that if the ground is flat you can move your cursor halfway across the map while strafing and jumping just to call the laser right onto someone’s face, and if the ground is bumpy (railroad tracks for example) or if there is beams across the ceiling (like in underground), you have to stand completely still or it’ll reset.
Why do we simply not make it so that rather than resetting if you move your cursor to another surface, the laser marker will appear wherever you first press down the button and follow your cursor exactly the same way the laser would?
Not sure if the reset when taking damage would still be needed as damaging kira wouldn’t be the only way to not get a laser to the face (well besides running across railroad tracks, or even going near railroad tracks, seriously those things suck)
