I managed to record an incident today of the notorious bug and have uploaded a video in the hopes that the devs might find some useful information. This is not the first time this has happened to me and if I recall, just like in the video the tree props are inherently linked to the issue. I believe the short ‘flash’ that occurs shortly after the laser disappearing is an entirely different issue where you target a ‘glass’ object with the designator.

Another instance of the bug occurred tonight so I have uploaded a second video. I’m almost certain that the trees have something to do with this. I cannot seem to replicate this effect in a local game.

Interesting! What I noticed in both videos is the height difference again.
Especially in the second one.
At the 23rd second you see how the laser goes invisible the moment it hits the bridge.
Trees may or may not effect it, I’ve had it happen on areas without any trees.
