Kind of Iffy...

Well I already fully pre ordered the game and what not but the reviews aren’t looking too good. Well atleast from IGN. Before you say “OH IGNorant” I only look at the scores they give because what they say determines quite a few peoples choice on whether or not they want to buy the game. G4TV gave it a 2/5 which is absurd to me but they haven’t been putting out good content since they took off all their hit shows and replaced them with COPS and Cheaters.
Gametrailers gave an honest review as the normally do. It seems like a lot of games score low and end up being hits. Like Homefront…over 1 million people bought that game and Microsoft themselves are gonna give the makers the hook ups with a contract just like Battlefield Bad Company had. I’m just hoping the playerbase for Brink doesn’t die down. Hell who knows, might be like Bioshock 2 where tons of people still play it after a good 2 years.

:stroggtapir:<— Freakin epic thing

G4 is always crazy with their reviews. The score has no relation to their reviewing material. GT so far has had the best review because they told it like it was. Another site I saw said that it is a good game. Just needs a patch or 2 and it will be perfect

If you check the reviews thread, there are scores all over the place. I’ve seen a couple 8or9/10s and 2/5s.
Main thing reviewers are dinging it for is the story…which is ridiculous when you consider the meat of the game IS Multiplayer.

I hear you. Splash Damage said they were focused on multiplayer lol. I don’t know how a Micheal Bay story like CoD gets 9s and 10s everytime. i guess it’s just the times we live in…I feel dumb being an american since all we do is want explosions.

Seeing as how Activision practically bribes the press for their review events, I’m not surprised at all :stuck_out_tongue:
