Would be nice to add a killcam in game.
It could show last player kill at the end of the round/match.
What do you think about it?
KillCam
I think it’s fine as it is. We have the kill-models shown, so you can see exactly where you died and where you were shot from. A kill-cam would be a little pointless because it’s more valuable to be laying on the floor and being able to call for a medic as they run by, or observe the surroundings. Just imho
The kill models IMHO should be reworked.
Right now they will lie to you in order to cover up hitbox lag.
All Iwant for the kill cam is is a manual release (shift right click) so I can analyze the incident. At the moment, it’s got a fixed time and sometimes, it doesn’t show the opponents’ loadout.

They account for where you actually got hit. When you get hit and you are killed you still have momentum many times and are flung further as you die…but you were actually killed earlier. People mistake this all the time for what you just said. Yes, there are some sync issues at times due to ping discrepancies and the anti-lag compensation, but they aren’t as common as people believe due to this killcam mechanic.
But most of the time what you’re seeing is just you jumping away, the camera keeping your perspective as you die along with momentum but the actual kill shot came before you stopped moving. Ever notice how sometimes your camera sits in one place as your body is revived in another? Similar thing. It’s probably a bug but not much of a reason to fix it other than to make sure people aren’t thinking they got hit from around corners when, most of the time (assuming decent pings and no packet loss), they didn’t.
I can go through some videos later and show some examples of lag (I have one really good one) vs. camera perspective.
Just so we know how to catch someone who is hacking since the ngs isnt that reliable.
I really like how cs:go portrays the enemies you get killed by.
You die, then the camera fly’s over to them with some cool music.
Really love it, the last thing you see when you die is your killer XD.
I’d rather they stay as it is, I don’t really see the point of a kill cam honestly. The way the game works isn’t really about the kills or crazy sprees like an arcade shooter, it’s more tactical and all about push/hold/plant, etc.
Gives you more information about what the enemy was using and what kind of load out they had. I guess more of a sensitive topic when it comes to competitive.
Although I think the kill-cam system is fine as it is as the moment. I think more of an upgrade is nothing to complain about.
TL:DR; Why not?

It’s a good system for pubs but not for competitive as it gives unfair information to the player who died who can then give that information to the rest of the team.
TL:DR; The CS:GO type cam system used in pubs is good for dirty bomb pubs but not for dirty bomb competitive.
