See title, to which I respond: What the actual fuck? I’ve got nothing running while i play this game, except youtube. How in the hell am I getting this error?
Should also be noted this only has started happening after this update were previously I’ve had 0 problems with this game.
Known problem. Very old bug. I myself reported it last week. For some reason it’s started popping up again after not getting it for a few months.
Gotcha, so nothing I can do other than restart the game and hope?
Well it’s happening literally every game at this point. It’s straight up impossible for me to play a game.
Fuck it between this issue and there piss poor handling of the past three or so updates I think I’m just done with DB

Yeah, it’s been happening to me more often lately as well. It’s 1-2 times a day. It’s frustrating tho because I get kicked when I’m getting a lot of points in a short period of time. This almost feels like some1 is doing that just to cockblock the joy of having a good run and wrecking the enemy team. Anyway, DB is still in open beta and you shouldn’t expect the game to run perfectly well.
The game is in enough of a released state that the company in question feels it is perfectly acceptable to put forth a cash shop. This means the company views the product as complete or complete enough (which in the terms of online games which are ALWAYS changing and thus can always, arguably be called some form of beta means it is released) to start monetizing it.
Once a game has reached this type of “PR beta” and are more than happy to take your money for whatever they may be, they lose all rights to the excuse “It’s just a beta bruh” and open themselves up to any all criticism aimed towards them. This is a belief I and many other people share because quite frankly if you’re not ready to be judged, then don’t be a dick and ask us to start spending money on you: That isn’t how life works.
ALL THAT SAID, just so you can’t so easily dismiss me: This isn’t a case of the game “not running well.” this is the case of a game not running at all, actively ruining the experience of a once paying user on top of heavy former critique of there past few patches, lost faith in the company in terms of there ability to actually balance
Ex: Making the Timik an M4 clone despite ALL OF US OUT-CRYING against it, The terrible state of release phantom and the subsequent terrible handling of it, the meh release of Thunder and the even more so APPALLING handling of it to this day, etc, etc, etc I could keep listing some of them.
and last but not least there in-general inability to properly address there player base or keep any form of promise to them. So please, do not act like I am some child who has suffered a single simple game bug and am bitching about it on the forums.
No I am a customer who has been here a pretty damned long time who has grown increasingly frustrated with the game, who the devs refuse to even hear much less help and who is fed up with this last little thing that prevents him from playing the game ENTIRELY, in every case 100% of the time, during a time sensitive event no less.
So yeah, screw the “It’s just open beta” bullshit.
@titaniumCrouton I completely understand the frustrations of the security violation kicking issues. This is constantly being worked on. I am truly sorry that this is effecting you so much. I have not confirmed but there have been players reporting it helps if you do some or all of the following. 1. Verify Game files. 2. reinstall 3. turn off other programs (if possible) that are running.

I am getting tired of this as well. I think I may have started to pin it down, but I’m not certain.
I noticed the OP mentioned running Youtbue when the error message occurred. I tend to do a lot of heavy multitasking, including while playing games. I’m pretty sure that almost every time I have been kicked I have had multiple streaming sites running like Youtube, stressing the net connection and possibly elevating my ping and causing some ‘lag’.
I know I’ve heard of gamers using fake lag / rubber banding to try and dodge fire or escape, so maybe this is what the security code is detecting, an unusual ping pattern?
I have a very stable connection, and my computer is quite literally a barebone system with firefox and steam installed, and 3 games installed through steam.
I quite literally have nothing else on this computer. No funny programs, no weird software (I don’t even have peripheral software, everything is driverless), and I don’t download anything on here. Never downloaded movies or pictures and never have youtube running while I play games. This rig only has a 256gb SSD and I still have 80 something % free.
But I get this bug a lot. That said, it hasn’t happened at all in the last 24 hours fingers crossed
I don’t think it has anything to do with software tbh, pretty sure it’s just buggy anti-hack software.
