Kevlar Ability for Soldier: Does it even work?

I noticed that I can still get kevlar buffed by engineers when I have the kevlar ability as a soldier even though it says I shouldnt be able to. Wouldnt that mean the passive ability isnt working?

Does someone want to test this?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Either the soldier’s passive ability is bugged or the engineer’s active ability is bugged. This needs to be cleared up and fixed.

I have had the same issue, did not understand why I was getting a kevlar buff, when I already had it as a skill. And neither seems to be working as far as helping me withstand any damage, I still die 10x faster then the enemy bots

The bots, especially on hard difficulty, are kind of like the ones in Combat Training in BLOPS. They shoot straight for the head with very high accuracy. I don’t think the vests will block any damage from that.
