When I join online freeplay match the server puts me on the resistance 95% of the time. I of course can’t stand this “Chen” guy & find him super annoying is there any option or preference to be on a certain side because I don’t see one. Also whenever I do get placed on the security there is extreme lag yet this never happens when I’m on the resistance. (this might just be a chance happening since most servers already lag) Thanks for any help.

If your playing on the consoles, you can pause the game, go spectator, then join a team of your choice. IDK why you get stuck on Resistance, maybe if your guys resistance? :? However, if you find the Annoucing voices annoying, you can turn those downs under Options > Audio.

why don’t you just switch to security if you want? you can do that ingame
and lagging only when you’ve joined security doesn’t make any sence sorry

Ye looks like when you join a server, you will stick always in that team for the rest of the day if you stay in that server, wich sux because or you kinda win all games or loose all games, because teams are always the same…

I find my resistance toon often gets stuck with security and my security toon with the resistance. Not sure how this is decided - assumed that each toons’ primary allegiance would affect which team it gets put on (am on the PC).
