K-121 Light Machine Gun - could use another belt/mag

I feel that the 125 ammo max for Fragger when he is wielding the K-121 LMG is a bit low.

He can tear through that in no time, and he has to shoot allot as the thing has a high amount of spread while hip firing.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not very good with Fragger (where everyone else seems to be a monster with him). Does anyone else think his ammo load at 100-125 is a bit low?

I’d like to see it at 50 in the gun and 150 extra carried.

I’m gonna be honest, the K-121 got nerfed recently, and ever since I haven’t liked it all that much. It isn’t bad, per se, but when the M4A1 exists…

And try tapfiring. I know it is odd tapfiring with an LMG, but you will land much more shots.

After the nerfs the K-121 definitive a gun that needs to be shot with controlled bursts and/or ADS (it has a large upward kick but is surprisingly stable) both to retain accuracy and to conserve ammunition.

Fragger is a beast and the ammopool balances that out a bit imo. since he either has to relay on firesupports (btw. if you give out ammo Fragger should be top priority). Or make frequent tips to the ammocrate.

I have learned to use this gun. It serves me pretty well… until the ammo is empty in 5s.
YES, i stand behind the idea to give 1 more mag to the K-121.

Or if the delopers have planned to make the Light machine guns only to have 1 mag carried then atleast increase the mag size to 75.

I suggested this same idea in my own little topic that nobody gives 2 s%its about.

But the case is, this gun realy need more ammo after all the nerfs.

honestly i think nader needs other options for LMG’s not other AR’s

Nader does not have ARs… she has smg/pdw

I think the closest time we see another merc with a LMG is going to happen when Thunder get re-released.

I think it should be 150, because 125 includes half a mag which doesn’t make sense.

It fires relatively slow, so it’s still a lot of shots for him. You should also try tap firing to circumvent the bloom you get from spraying. It helps a lot for landing shots and conserves ammo.

The low amount of ammo is intentional.

No sh#t. But its damn annoying when you have team full of people that only give ammo for them self’s.

Not only that but the K-121 has been nerfed over 9000 times right now.
It has poor hip accuracy but very good aiming accuracy, but it is also slow and still eats ammo like crazy. Not only that but technically the m4 is better in ammo economy, because that gun ensures you that you hit your target unlike K-121

Pretty much this, also I think the M4 is actually kinda OP right now.

Fragger also has grenades in case you forgot. They are very strong, and if you learn how to cook em (three second fuse) then he is incredibly deadly. On Bridge and Underground especially, Due to some real tight camping spots.

in comp many people still rek with K121, being able to keep firing for twice as long as M4 can be a big difference in big firefights where both teams have medics.

its damn annoying when medics dont revive, engineers dont repair etc. either. Game is balanced around people playing as a team. deal with it : )

[/quote]I think they meant Fragger, and I do agree with them on that, it seems a bit odd that Fragger has the BR-16 and not the MK46, His original LMG, the one you see him holding as the K-121 was Thunder’s original.

To me (and it’s only my opinion but still) an LMG is the OPPOSITE of Aimed fire. It should absolutly be a hip fire weapon. “An Area Saturation weapon”. It should fall inbetween Rhino’s Chain Gun and an Assault Rifle, for hipfire, aimed fire, ammo capacity, damage, and aimed fire.

But is he really that powerful? He’s basically a Skyhammer with no ammo. Yes he has the Frag grenades but are the that awesome???

I am the first to admit I do very poorly with him so I am 100% open to missing the “awesomeness” that is Fragger.

I frankly do better with Skyhammer as I can fire all day laying down suppressing fire, or even take chances on long range shots i’d never try with Fragger because of the very low ammo pool for his LMG.

I just find it HILARIUS that a dude that has backpack, has wishkey, candy, million grenades, teleskope and all other freaking stuff in his backpack, cant carry more than 1 mag with him, wtf?

When i started playing in closed beta i thought he was fire support… until i had change to test him.

protip for fragger: pull out grenades with ‘4’ instead of ‘q’. Cook the grenade (hold it in your hand) for 3 seconds after pulling out the pin - throw at an enemy - enjoy.

Fragger has been considered the most powerful mercenary in the game since November2014. He received at least 3 nerfs since, and still is the backbone of any high-skilled team.

Sounds a bit like you are used to Skyhammers ammo refill abilities. Try Fragger with the M4. If you have similar problems with it on Fragger, I would recon that you have some bad ammo spending habits that Skyhammer masks.

I could definitely be mistaken but I swear when I let his grenade cook off for a 3 count it blows up as soon as it leaves my hand so I’ve been using a “2 fingers” count instead.

I’ll have to try a 3 finger toss tonight and see if it blows up to close to me or I can get some range on it.
