Just want to get some advice

SO I been grinding on a credit booster all day and I’m finally back to 50k. I’m looking for advice on what I should get. My top best right now are Nader, Phantom, Arty, and Vassili. I really enjoy giving ammo lol. The dudes I have right now are Arty, Aura, Nader, Phantom, Vassili, Skyhammer (obvious), Rhino, and Proxy. I was thinking maybe Phoenix, Stoker or Thunder. I have a ranked card for Thunder but it’s not all that good. But Aimee is also so awesome, yet I already have a sniper! I’m already indecisive as is, please help!!

I’d highly suggest Phoenix. Stoker may be good, but his mollies are really underpowered right now. Thunder is highly controversial, so maybe want to steer clear for now. Phoenix has a very similar role and positioning with Arty, that is slightly behind your group, while topping them up with health occasionally. His SMGs are nothing​to scoff at either. My favourite loadout for him is the CR81 with Potent Packs, Healing Reach and Guardian Angel. A set of great support augnents, coupled with the hardest hitting SMG, reliable pistol, and the beloved Beckhill.

Be careful though. His self revive can mess up your muscle memory with Nader’s martyrdom as you may instinctively mash F in hopes of ressurecting, but instead you turn into a mess of German surstroöming.

Yeah, another sniper might not be the best choice at the moment.
Phoenix is quite decent. You won’t have to worry about people accidently dodging your health.
Sawbonez on the other hand is a great pocket medic with very powerful medpacks.
Furthermore he has an additional 10 HP and only costs 30.000 credits.

Meanwhile Stoker is able to deny a certain area with his molotov.
It’s a little bit more viable after its recent buff.

And Thunder…well, he is very frustrating to play against and the competitive community generally agrees that he is overpowered.

After a lot of non scientific tests, I can tell you this: His mollies will only kill a Proxy at full health IF she runs through the flame. Phoenix and above will just brush off the fire. Another thing is that, unless you know the perfect angles, a lot of your throws won’t even be large enough to block out access, so path denial is only for superior players that can use a damn Cartesian graph on the fly. The redeeming qualities that Stokes have is that he himself is a powerful merc (120 HP) and his guns are really good for newbies or professional plays.

As I and @Kirays said, if you have an engineer already, getting Aura’s brother or Spanish Jesus are highly recommended.

Isn’t the Hocfir seriously weak? I tried it for a moment, and the first thing I thought was:
“Damn, DB has the PP-Bizon.”

On paper the hochfir isn’t that good but it’s high rof and large mag mean it’s really forgiving of bad aim and if you do aim well, your opponent is going to get screwed really hard by aimpunch because of the rof. So in practice it’s actually pretty good for noobs and decent players. Overall, though, crotzni and kek are the best smg’s, hochfir is a little worse than them but still solid, and then the blishlok is still garbo although less terrible than it used to be.

As for the op’s question I would go with Phoenix just because you don’t have any combat medics but you already have fire support mercs.
