Got gifted from a friend… How do I play the game? I mean… from where will I be able to download the game once I get access? And how long does it take to get the access?

Lots of people have been saying they received access within a day or two, others still haven’t gotten in yet.
I notice that players outside of Europe seem to be getting in a little faster, might not necessarily be true though.

It would be interesting to know how exactly this works. I’d like to tell some people about it, but I don’t want to get their hopes up heh.

As it states on the main Dirtybomb page you “MAY” recieve an alpha invite. If you don’t I guess you’ll have to wait a few more months till the BETA is almost complete.

Well it’s definitely not 100% guaranteed alpha access for the $30 pack.
In-fact you can read the text yourself by clicking on “Priority Access”, it says:
Guaranteed access at least one month before Open Beta. Priority invite to the Closed Beta in 2013, plus the chance of invitation to the Closed Alpha running now.
For 100% guarantee you’ll want the $120 pack. Although the cool thing is if you get the cheaper one now you can always upgrade at a later date and only pay the difference.

Just got the key today… and unluckily my internet usage (bandwidth) is almost full… so i was wondering how much is the exact size of DB for the current version.
