SD should have non-linear campaigns and objective routes.
Think of the first challenge that changes depending on difficulty. The objectives in the game should be non-linear in that sense.

What if the mainlanders are really peaceful and the ark is the place full of barbarians.

Good idea. Possibly something for Brink 2, eh? Be cool if each level was just wide open sandbox style (like Battlefield) and the objectives would semi-randomly be picked around each map. Have around 20 or so objectives per area and each game consists of 4-6 of these objectives. Figure out some way to link certain objectives to the other objectives in the map. Or, maybe have an objective get interrupted half way through by some random event (like a plane crashing int he map, or an earthquake, etc) and then a new objective could start up.
Or not.
This might be interesting for anyone involved in BRINK’s story: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/05/17/disposable-worlds-and-imagining-brink-2/
(Spoiler)
I think it was one of the what if scenarios or maybe the main objective - but I would love to see a what if scenario with the resistance landing into foreign territory in a shoot to survive situation against the crazed tribal people.
or hell maybe it’s not even humanity that everyone tried to escape they can go do some much different things if they choose too.
I would love to see a third faction, but for the security and resistance to not work together. A level where there is 3 groups fighting against eachother would be great.
Yeah, especially that they reveals true motivation of Resistance leader.
-very little SPOLER-
And it’s not for sure this:

Resistance leadership is right to fight for equality on the Ark and water/food, but also is sympathetic to the rest of humanity not on the Ark.[/QUOTE]

Would 3 factions fighting eachother at the same time be possible on a console? 5v5v5 perhaps? I somehow doubt that 8v8v8 could run smoothly. On Xbox 720 perhaps?
I liked listening to Mokoena & Chen audiologs, it shows different aspects of them, sometimes they show good leadership, concern about citizens and other times they put their own ego and selfish pride before anything else.
I’ve got a feeling that both will join forces to fight some external menace.

i realy dont have time to get audio logs, can you mail me to say what they say? Please. would help me a lot, not word for word but concise.
Splash Damage would have to figure it out (aka hosting dedicated servers), but Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the Xbox 360 has been 12 vs 12 and it runs fine. 12+12=24, 24/3=8, yeah math!
They will unlock while you play multiplayer. It’s hard to get short version of them, so just play and sooner or later you will unlock all of them. And then read them, really worth, it’s awesome stuff.
