Just encountered 2 of those "Name-botters" (my name for them), What I have learned

Just joined into a server to a person saying “Go fuck yourself” I decided to enquire, I said “Cheaters?” ( I have a slow PC takes a LOOOONG time to load into a game) before I got a reply I loaded in to be one shot headshot by an enemy aura who’s name then changed to mine. After a quick bout of profanity I noticed that somebody on our team was doing it too. Both of them had the cheat.

What I have noticed is that they can still take damage, sometimes they kill people too fast and miss the name change, the name must have a full stop on the end and also the name does not change on their steam profile.

I managed to get the profile of both of them:

as you can see one of them has already been VAC banned just over a week ago.

I got a few pictures but they are largely irrelevant, the entirety of both teams ended up leaving in the end.

people can one hit me with any weapon and upon doing so their name changes to the player they killed so they cant be vote kicked

This game is completely out of control with the players who hack. Its usually a 50/50 chance you will get a hacker in competitive, and in normal’s it’s usually 1/4 of the games. If this isn’t under control soon this game will be worthless.

PLEASE GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER NEXON/SPLASH DAMAGE!!!
