Is this available for all region?

(RazielWarmonic) #3

Good luck!

(TheVulpesFox) #4

@BlackboltLW Looked around the website and it only shows EU and NA ladders rip

(Rosskii) #5

Currently EU and US. We can add Asia and Australia if there is demand. Which region would you want?

What region are you?

(BlackboltLW) #6

@Rosskii Asia

(bontsa) #7

AUS community (or least one solid team from it) is quite active on DBN Pugs and scrimming, should ask @Dox how much interest there would be from them for ladder cupping.

(doxjq) #8

Sadly we wouldnt have enough interest for our own ladder. In all honesty there is enough players and probably even enough “teams” (I think there might be maybe 7 or 8 teams total) but everyone down here is just way too lazy and unless they know it’s a guaranteed win / easy game they just don’t bother playing scrims, so I kinda gave up on trying to find proper teams and just play random pugs instead.

Those of us who are around though would be happy to play in the USA ladder if we could maybe play US west servers. Here in NZ I can play US east (barely, but it’s tolerable) but western Aus and Asia players just can’t.

I hope this does get some steam behind it. Organize people… ORGANIZE.

(sonsofaugust5) #10

@Dox everyone us can play US west no problem under 100 ping…

(sonsofaugust5) #11

Nobody knows about this yet on DBNATion or so I think @Dawnrazor @Zorla @DKill_

(sonsofaugust5) #12

@Rosskii Hey, if every team that plays the DBnation tournaments signs up on scrim base there would be 6ish or 7, depending on if there are AUS teams involved. I just don’t see what scrimbase helps us do. I scheduled a match versus a team I’ve never heard of in the NA ladder at a time all my guys can get on. Interested to see how it goes. I’m down for getting on another platform that wants to get into DB comp.

(Rosskii) #13

yeah I am going to try and reach out to those cup teams.

what scrimbase does is keeps a log of results, and puts you in a table so you can see how good your team is compared to other teams. bragging rights i guess :stuck_out_tongue: It also motivates people out of solo publics and encourages teams to form and competitve matches that can be taken seriously. Also it reduces the currently existing “matchmaking” queue times to zero, thats if you find a match though, and finding a match will only happen if this becomes more popular.

(Rosskii) #14

I tried to tell them, but they deleted my post on the discord. I have been online a few days, but I plan to do another wave of promotion soon

Problem is you cant pick the region in private matches, if you pick US then its fixed and you cant pick east or west. Unless you choose to use a PUG server, but that wont easily be available to everyone. But I dont see a problem with you using pug servers.

(bgyoshi) #16

@Rosskii Is this only for already formed clans? Anyone wanting to solo queue would have to go organize into PuG and find other solo players, yeah?

(unhallowedBlender) #17

It is for real teams, but you can easily create a team invite some players and play matches. You aren’t stuck in one team, you can have multiple teams if you want.

The ultimate goal is of course to have a steady team where you can rank high with.

Oh okay. The post title made it seem like a system for anyone to play Ranked. Maybe it should have (TEAMS ONLY) in the title too
