The profile page claims that I joined this forum 10th Aug. 2002 – ten years ago! Amazing. Will release a new W:ET custom map this upcoming weekend, just to do something fun.

Rock on Splash:ers!

yeee, over 30 Mb!! Insane, I know. Well… modern computers and fast internetz.

Ten years ago we thought 3-5 Mb was enough – and 10 Mb was crazy.

And today 20 Mb is np.

And, also, I can compile a large map with lightmapscale 0.125 (i.e. high resolution) in minutes today. Ten years ago it took hours and hours, if it was at all possible.
