Newsposter and Uploader Cartman from ET-Scene.de work on a new FunMod for ET…

Here are some impressions of the mod:

Changes the following things…

  • Skins for mines, respawn and construction points
  • Sign for “Need a Medic/Ammo”
  • new Limbo Menue
  • new PlayerSkins
  • and perhaps still some WaponSkins

I like it but try and have less cheesy dope imagery and lean more towards fat buds from hightimes and all that kinda stuff as the cheesy stuff gets tired real quick…!

Have you considered tweaking the smoke of smoke grenades (rainbow colored! whee!) and the blinkage of armed dynamite?

im no expert on the subject but i would class it as a mod,
mod = modification :wink:

if you look on most et related site’s you will find the skin packs and the sound packs in the mod section

A Mod is indeed a Modification but its split down further.

Theres things like ETPro which change parts of gameplay and fixes (and adds some :E) bugs and such but it still is ET. A thing like Pop or Ambush are Total Conversions because they change much more than a simple ‘mod’ like ETPro. The thing featured here is just a Graphic Pack/Hack as all it does is change the Graphics and doesnt exactly ‘modify’ the gameplay in anyway.

When I skin all then it’s a total conerversion Filesize then maybe 20-30 MB Thats to big. I think weapon skins are not a MUST. But voicechats, mmmmh o.k
Because of the release: Don’t know, the biggest problemn @ the moment are the skins and maybe then the sounds

I have the mod now released. Sure It’s not sooo many other things but maybe when i have more time it gives an “Jamaica Deluxe Mod”, then with other sounds, skins ans otherthings.
