So pretty much everyone agrees that this game needs more advertisement to make it more mainstream, instead of the cult classic it is now. Well, I have an outline for a new trailer similar to the famous E3 “Scrubs” trailer, which would introduce the more recently added mercs, as well as advertising the game:
The screen begins with a view of a clear blue sky with a few white clouds, with the voice of the Jackal(Female) commander saying something along the lines of London being a nice city, “But then the mercs came.” An EV then rolls over the camera, obscuring the view of the sky. The view then switches to a view of a map similar to Chapel, with a group of mercs running towards it, and focuses on Skyhammer hurling a marker in front of the EV, with his classic trenches and thunder line (Alternatively, it could be Javelin shooting it with a rocket from one knee, with the zoom in and name bar from Scrubs, but that depends of whether or not Javelin is added). The EV is immediately disabled by the airstrike/rocket, but Skyhammer/Javelin is quickly killed by a volley of gunfire from Turtle, who then slaps down a shield and begins repairing the EV, with an introductory zoom in. Turtle repairs the EV, but is killed when he’s blinded by a conc nade that Thunder throws in front of the EV, and then shreds Turtle with gunfire (with introduction). Stoker then steps around the EV, takes few hits from Thunder, but throws a molotov at him with introduction, killing the Russian. Phoenix then runs up and heals Stoker with a pulse. It would be really cool if the view zoomed in to one of Stoker’s wounds, showing the microbes repairing tissue, and maybe a bunch of them teaming up to drag a bullet out of the wound. Phoenix is then introduced. A smoke grenade then extinguishes the molotov fire, and Stoker and Phoenix peer into it, only to be killed by rapid fire from Redeye’s Grandeur. Redeye is then introduced. We see a small object fly by Redeye to stick to a wall behind him, and he is debilitated. He gets shot once in the shoulder, tries to deliver his echoes in maternity line, but gets shot in the head before he can finish. The view pans way back to where Aimee stands, PDP aimed. She is introduced. She starts to follow the EV to it’s destination, and Phoenix revives himself and joins her. The screen fades to black as the commander says “London used to be good for children, but now it’s best for jackals.”
Please comment your opinion on my idea, with suggestions, praise, or crushing criticism.
