I've a Soldier fully spec, what do I spend the renaming 2 points on?

I’ve ignored grenade shooting, but Universal and Solider are fully stocked. I’ve two points left over.

Considering faster hack and another opp skill for OBJs, or Nerves and Post upgrade.

Any other mixes I should consider?

Grenade shootings pretty cool man, it does have its uses. as for the other one i would go for post upgrade. I have a 20 operative, currently 18 on soldier, ill do pretty much this.

post upgrade. be a soldier, capture a post, switch to engi, upgrade command post, switch back to soldier

This. And Maybe Firewall if you’re willing to waste that much time on a CP.

Upgrade command post is great I use that with my Engineer/Operative. The faster mind ability allows you to fix turrets quickly. You could spend those points on Rank 5 abilities. Really depends on what you want your style to be. Hack faster is good too.

I’d say Command Post Firewall and Command Post Upgrade. Like folks have said, when you hit a command post swap to Op and firewall it, then swap to Eng and upgrade it, then switch back to Soldier. I do the firewall first because it’s faster, and slows down a recap, so if they kill you while upgrading at least you’ve got it firewalled. Also, when you switch to Eng you can lay a quick mine nearby to cover your back while upgrading (but it’ll disappear when you go back to Soldier).

I usually get all the universal skills and fill up what ever other class i wanna be. then, i get the medic’s laz grenade (just in case). So 4 characters: one with soldier(universal and solder), operative(universal and operative), medic(same thing), engineer(same thing). Downed fire is a must have for me always. lol I usually go medic till i get to lvl 20 then reset my abilities to what ever i want and get to 20 again. :stroggbanana:

Grenade shooting is mandatory imo.

grenade shooting is actually very useful. i think the description lies by the way. i’ve shot another teammate’s grenade and gotten credit for a knockdown. also, i think i “committed suicide” because someone shot a grenade that i was priming. i think the skill allows you to detonate any grenade by shooting it. but comm upgrade and firewall are good to have for any class.

I’m the opposite, never used it since I got the achievement. I never use the ‘psychic power’ skill, either. I use the slots to make my character a more rounded Soldier/Engr.

I think firewalling is useless as it only slow it down and the capturing doesnt get undone. If you get killed while capping a comm post, it should go back down after a while but for now it seems pointless.

I’d say Comm Post upgrade and Gear Head. Both really useful abilities
