k seen some videos where splash damage went and justified their bots stupidity saying they were made so they wouldnt do objectives cause they didnt want to kill ur glory or watever and only when theres little time left do they start doing stuff ect ect. well they didnt do any of that! i did all the objectives fast so i had a lot of time on the counter and it was the last hack thing. my team (all bots) just practically stayed on a ledge and didnt come with me to protect me, i was down 5 feet away and it didnt revive me and even at the end there was no change to their behavior. look i understand wat splash damage was trying to achieve with the AI and i can appreciate it, but it is flawed and needs changing. hopefully they will read this post
Its been said but the bots need changing
Not saying the bots don’t need help, but did you ever consider the bot was out of charge and couldn’t revive?
Stay in school.
I agree with the OP on this.
SD were selling Brink as having a seamless transition from off-line to on-line play, but with the way the bot’s play as it stands this is not the case, you have to play the game differently.
I don’t see why the player can’t have control of the AI settings, this would enable individual to decide at what level they wanted to play at, not what the SD feel the average gamer can cope with. You could if you wish set it so you had to do all the objectives yourself or set it so you could practice one class to become more productive while playing on-line.
This solution seems so simple and would stop people complaining about what level the bot AI was set to, we also would not have to wait for SD to make the changes their side and I can’t see how this would break the game in any way compared to say giving the player the ability to change weapon damage, anyone agree?
