It happens every time.
I don’t know about you guys but I am probably gonna post this on some of the ‘pls nerf’ threads.

While you’re at it, post it in the Fletcher and Arty buff threads
I don’t care how much you want it to be so, having a “funny” image
that backs up your position on an issue doesn’t make you correct.
Agreed. Do it on the Steam forums for DB too.
The Steam forum are the worst. :#
Thanks for this great thread OP and i agree: never trust a fart. especially if its tuning out it might be a wet one. it might be fine or you might be in big trouble.
Free week Nader: Annoying, but she isn’t OP. 100 grenades a second is still just irritating.
Fletcher buff? Oh god, no. That’d give me PTSD.
Potentially Tripled Sticky Detonations?

Fletcher doesnt need a ’ buff ’ but Ahnuld needs a serious buff to make it par with other shotguns and a fix for disappearing stickies !

I haven’t played enough Mercs yet, I had no idea the shotgun was named the Ahnuld. I think I’m marrying this game.
Back on topic, I’m really appreciating the system that’s in place as a casual player learning better habits. Like with Sparks, I now know to be aware of if she’s alive or not and priotizing executions higher based on that, or like with Nader, to STOP HABITUALLY GOING TO KNIFE. Thanks to entire Nader squads, I’ve worked that habit down well enough to go to do it, and then remember and jump away at the last second saving my life. Actually now that I think about it, I hope those players don’t think I’m trying to bait them into pulling their plugs because I’m just a genuine idiot.
Turns out getting spammed is really helping me learn how to defend better against each class. Obviously playing AS them is also good at this, but both is nice.
Thanks for the image, but I have to admit that I didn’t know how to feel about typing “Sniff’s Cycle of Butthurt Dirty Bomb” into an image file. Feels like the kinda thing that somehow puts me on a sexual offender unit’s watch list AND an anti-terrorist unit’s watch list.
The Ahnuld is fine imo. Stickies do need to be fixed though.
Really? Even a proxy survives a face hug to Ahnuld … Granted it has almost double range of other shotguns but the double of tiny is still tiny… Ahnuld should have higher fire rate , or higher headshot modifier !
Though, it works perfectly with Rhino, having 200hp …Its kinda bad with fletcher, most of the time you have to shoot 4 or even 5 shots to kill targets… You need like 4 shots to kill a fragger at 10m (ish) , unless you got aimbot or something ! (or he is not moving)

The loss of the ability to one shot light mercs isn’t that big a deal when you consider that he shouldn’t be charging into these mercs in the first place. The distance he wants to play with is enough that even the other shotguns wouldn’t one shot anyway, but with the Ahnuld he gets more shots before reload and has probably dealt splash damage anyway.

The proxies and auras are the ones who charge, often with their own shotty. Not that I think this weapon needs a buff…
They do, but if they get into a close enough range that they could be oneshot and haven’t taken some chip damage I feel like you’re not playing Fletcher right. But I’m no Fletcher expert.
OR you got outplayed.
You only need to chip 3 damage from Aura or 13 damage from Proxy to be able to one shot them with the Ahnuld.
