Is using Rivatuner a bannable offense?

Is it? Just to be clear, I haven’t used it yet but I’d like to know if it is. I’d like to tone down some settings for a higher fps.

No its not as it is just graphics settings that dirtybomb cannot control

@Amerika Was somebody banned in the past for SweetFX? Do you know if this would be comparable?

I dunno if it is bannable, but NGS may detect it and falsely flag you. I would assume it doesn’t, but I’m not an authority on the subject.

I know a while back a person claimed that they were banned due to SweetFX but I don’t know if it was ever proven to be the case. Rivatuner might be fine but I do know some AC systems will boot people who have it on. I have no clue if DB will.

Personally I’d stay 100 miles away from any program that can modify hex values of files, does .dll injections, uses unsigned drivers or overrides graphical settings by modifying the GPU stream/buffer. Some may be fine but I am not willing to risk it. And just because it’s not banned today doesn’t mean it won’t be banned, or at least boot you until it’s off, tomorrow.
