I wasn’t implying people would drop Dirty Bomb. I’m not expecting that at all. I was just saying I wouldn’t be surprised if there was less people on during peak hours due to some trying out BF1 on the first day of hype.
Is this game dying?
[quote=“Jostabeere;200879”]You should not take Youtubers so seriously since everyone has a subjective opinion.
For example some of them like kAndyREW dislike the crafting system and say it kinda broke the game for them.
And I think it is stupid that people take a side system for so important and don’t play a game because of it.
For example people like @Amerika don’t care about skins at all and play the game solely for the gameplay with Bronze cards.

Who needs to craft when you have luck like him, every special event the game has had he has gotten a awesome loadout card…
By now everyone should be realising what utter trash bf1 is and should be hastily making there collective hides back to a real shooter aptly named Dirty Bomb. So many issues with bf1 its incredible, but Im glad i tried it i can save myself £50-120 ; )
Typical AAA Multiplayer games, nuff said.
Gave up on them, long time ago. I could go on of what’s wrong with them, but I’d rather not to.
I’m an FPS scrub so I don’t know anything about BF1 issues, but if anything BF1 with huge 32v32 maps containing all sorts of vehicles is something completely different than DB that’s nice to play once in a while to mix things up
Not a huge fan of the one map we got in the demo but I heard that earlier closed tests had better maps. Anyways it’s the first BF I have any interest in, partly due to the WW1 setting.
Ah yes the game that says female soldiers are unbelievable, but everyone running around with automatic weapons is fine.
Though at this point I feel like this thread belongs in off topic now LUL
Is it a meme to ask this question about every game btw? I see this question asked at least once a week about DB, and I even saw someone ask in battlefield 1 chat if people thought the game would die after release.
Why do people even ask this question? Do they need validation from others that enjoying and playing the game is okay? If you enjoy a game, just play it. Even if it actually starts to die (like quakeLive did) there are still always people that will play it to the very end. If you enjoy it, play it. Simple.

Because people understand how flakey online multiplayer games can be in regards to actual playerbase, it can be a risky investment spending money on a game that might completlely die out shortly after its release.
Its not for validation in the sense that people share the same opinion as them on the game, its validation to make sure they wont be investing money/time into something that might not sustain a playerbase over a period of a few months.
Very tired atm, so this may all sound like gibberish.
the day when the game will be balanced, people won t leave this game! how could u have fun fighting a team with 4 merc upper lv 50 and in the other team all emrc under lv 15 ???

Because there’ no MM. You just get placed in matches.
It may not be fun for you to get placed against level 50s, but being lvl 29 and being the only person on the team above level 10 is a hella lot worse than getting stomped. You have to watch your team slowly lose despite your best efforts.
It’s not very fun.
I love this game and still play it. Not every day but at least once every 1-2 weeks. Yeah sometimes daily.
But when TF2 got their casual and comp matchmaking I found myself going back to it and now I play it almost every evening after work and even got a small team.
Seeing how that turned out (never thought I could enjoy TF2 that much again, but here I am) I finally understand why people are screaming for casual mm.
But on the other hand: With matchmaking doesn’t come balancing. In tf2 one team almost always hords the high rank players and the other is crowded with low ranks. But it’s waaaaay better then DB: The few times I was actually willing to waste my time waiting for a ranked match it was so terribly balanced that I have no interest in doing that again.
(Enemy team with 2 gold and 3 silver ranks vs us all unranked)
