ok, so i want to take a big chunk of goldrush and put it in my map, but there is soo many things to select. i dont want to hold shift and press every little detail. i was wondering, on the grid, can you just drag your mouse other a area and then it will select every thing i drag over? thx, this will save A LOT of time for me. =D

You can make a big brush around what you need - and go to “selection” and “select” and “select inside”.

Ah com’on… You spoiled the surprise!

Serious now: this is a nice technique, but I have my questions about this usage… I hope this is only for a TJ map?

About selecting lots of stuff: I do not remeber but I think you can do this in the 3d-window (I have radiant 1.4): Hold SHIFT, then click on a brush, and another brush (while SHIFT is still pressed), and another, and so on… In fact, you can drag the mouse around in the 3d-window (while SHIFT is still down) and just select tons of stuff. Then hit DELETE - nah, just kidding.
