Is there a way to restart the game?

Alrighty… Here’s a question. Is there a way to delete the game files so you can restart the game from the absolute zero (only default loadout cards, only Skyhammer and Aura, no credits, level 1)? :confused:

Create a new steam profile, play DB from there. Only way.

I’m saying that because I wasted all of my money at cases so now I don’t have money to buy mercs. :smiley: I should’ve sticked to buying mercs first and then buying cases and cards. Well, thanks anyway! <3

You could try contacting Nexon and request it but I have no idea what the chances of success are.

I did the same thing months ago - it’s not the end of the world, you’ll earn the credits back for mercs before you know it.

This. It’s not going to matter in the long run. Even if you blew 50k credits, the time it would take you to set up a new account and get back early level credits would be half the time it takes you to get them back on your main account.

Just play and start saving. In the long run 50k isn’t much anyway.

And try not to feel as if there is a weight on your shoulders where you need to get ALL THE MERCS. Most people, even those of us who have hundreds of hours in, still only play a few different mercs most of the time. Just figure out what you really like, buy them, get the cards you want then work on the rest later without any pressure.

And there is actually a perk for not having all the mercs, and that perk comes from how the merc specific missions are selected. Hence, the fewer mercs you got, it seems the higher the chances that you get missions based on your favourite squad.

And if you do not want to unlock all the mercs, just observe gameplay/wait for free rotation to figure out what you like the most.

For example I bought Phantom before the ‘recent’ nerf, played few games with it, and just determined that the merc was not for me. (I did clear entire corridors and rooms with that Katana, but there just was not enough bang for the buck.)
