Is there a way to earn credits faster?

Title basically says anything, I usually do all objectives like earn 15k XP in stopwatch daily, yet it still takes ages to earn enough credits to buy a merc. Are there any ways to earn more besides these missions?

Thanks in advance!

Credit earnings appear low in the early game, this is the nature of the game. It’s meant to be scarce enough where buying every merc with credits isn’t an immediate goal(Though paying real money is always an option, and don’t say it’s “Pay to Win” because it’s really not).

You should be driven by the game, by the need to earn what you buy, make credits readily available and suddenly things lose their value. Players would be able to get all the mercs they want with relatively little work, and say within a month you’d own every merc and then the only goal from there is buying loadouts for each of them. Once you got that the only end-game you got left is striving for those cobalt loadout cards, which are identical to the bronze ones you can simply buy.

So while things seem to be going slowly for you, it’s because it’s designed that way so that we don’t all get bored of the game in a couple months. It’s even worse being in a beta because if players leave before official release they are not likely to come back to see the new content and the completed game.

Actually, @JesseKomm , the first couple of levels seem the fastest when gaining credits, probably to give peeps a chance to get their first 30k merc once or before they hit lvl5- ish. No numbers to back this up but thats what I felt personally and have heard around the forum.

For the OP though, aside from missions you do get 500 credits for playing each gamemode for the first time for the day, and another 500 for first win. So basically 1500 credits for playing 1 Objective, 1 Stopwatch and winning one game, per day, is available. During Execution weekends that raises upto 2000 obviously, since +500 for first Exec match of the day.

Nothing much beside those 2 factors to raise it up, there are no boosters for credits afaik. Longer games do give more credits, since base fee is minute-based. So steamrolled 2-minute Objective gives less credits than a tense game going on until last seconds on the timer. Hence attempting to balance teams, even by yourself swapping to losing / player number-wise lower side, will technically earn more credits per game.

Yes, @coolFortress, I believe there are two instances where a player under level 5 will earn a 10,000 credit boost to help assist them towards their first merc purchase. But once you’ve gotten your first non-starter merc things seem to slow down, because you’re building up from nothing at that point and do not have the massive credit assist. Also at these levels I believe mission rewards are typically 500 credits where after this level hurdle you start to see 750 and 1000 credit missions(At least more frequently).

Can’t confirm nor deny that statement for getting higher reward missions less often at lower levels, I just very highly doubt it since it just doesn’t seem very beginner friendly.

Sure, if DB is someone’s first ever class-based shooter to pick, grasping stuff like how to efficently gain those huge 4,5k support exp’s before next mission cycle might be tough, but I don’t see a reason why newbies’s missions should be restricted in any way. Shall the RNG gods decide!

Check the start pack on Steam, seems good value and worth it to me, but I am still new to the game so might be talking crap!
