Is there a public gametype with 16 humans on the 360?

I started playing again a couple nights ago to get my 2nd character from 18 to 20. When I last played in early June, “Big Teams” was the gametype to choose if you wanted botless 16 player matches. The past couple of nights, I couldn’t find more than 8 humans in a game, regardless of my match settings. Is there a specific setting type I need to select?

Well big teams and standard are pretty much the exact same thing. Play standard and you’ll find more folks.

Big Teams is back and Standard has reverted to the way it used to be with a cap of 8 human players in the match. So if you want 8v8 you have to play Big Teams right now. Although since they made this switch back I have gotten 0 full games in Big Teams.

I don’t understand why they made the change and I’ve just added it to the list of stupid things SD has chosen to do for no apparent reason and without any communication with the playerbase who has repeatedly asked for fewer game modes and bot presence not more.

actually, standard still allows 8 v 8 or maybe its just 8 humans total, they were on both teams then one team.

It’s only 8 humans total in standard. If someone tries to join after that it says game full. We’ve been trying all week :frowning:

because they havent listened to any reason. they dont give a crap what people think. they said oh we will listen to the community but look at what theyve done wrong!

i mean if they had taken the suggestion months ago, make stop watch and competetion one game (you might hurt some guys feelings oh well it works better this way) compile big teams and standard (1 game type 16 people LIKE YOUR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN SAID) and some how make a compromise between advanced and old school. BLAM the small groups of people still playing actaully dont have to play against eachother 1 trillion times

I think it’s the crippling lag that’s stopping the game having decent sized matches on both X360 and PS3. By default, the game should be able (and designed to) handle a human 8v8 match. It isn’t, and it can’t - in many cases.

I’ve actually yet to play a full 8v8 human match on PS3!

ive played many 8v8 matches and very few lagg its just the fear.

Yeah, I’ve found 8 v 8 Big Team matches since the update, and the lag wasn’t an issue.

Well, two weeks ago Standard was 16 humans too! Now the breakdown is Standard, Oldskool, and Big Team. Big Team is 16 humans. But Standard is a bit more friendly for new players, honestly. Just throwing that out there. Big Team is a lot of max level characters. :slight_smile:

still, everybody knows this game is way cooler played 8v8 so get everybody playing big teams!
